So feeling a little leftout after the HP Touchpad fiaso, and is now yerning for a tablet at a low cost? Rumored is that the BlackBerry Playbook will be slashing it's price by half would be sweet music to your ears! Reason, apparently, is that RIM is trying to clear out as much inventory as possible becauase they are scheduled for an earnings report by the middle of this month.

With this, you're looking at picking up a Playbook from around $200-$300. Before you rush out to pick one up, keep in mind that many other tablet makers are apparently coming out with low cost tablets by the end of this year. Makers, such as, Samsung, Lenovo, Barnes & Noble, even Amazon.com, are all coming out with tablets between the price range of $200-$300. Although the specs for some of these tablets are still unknown it's still a good deal.
